Acquiring new customers is an important part of growth for brands. TAKEALOT wants to better understand how to increase e-commerce adoptions in the township context by understanding what can be done to persuade those who do not shop online to consider e-commerce as part of their shopping routine.
Everything we do starts with understanding our audience, customer and their context. By conducting digital surveys, focus groups and immersions, we unpacked what drives consumers, what messages to communicate and what initiatives to implement that will improve e-commerce adoption in the township context.
We found that township consumers would be more inclined to utilize TAKEALOT if their touch points were physically present in the spaces the consumer currently spend their time shopping in.
